The Apple Company has always amazed its customers with their every product launch. The launch of iPhone X was nothing less. The features, OIED panel screen, 5.8 inches expansive display is leaving everyone in awe.
Unless you are not living under a rock, you will know how its new smart feature, the Face ID has created a new level excitement among the iPhone admirers.
The new Face ID is extremely secure when compared to the Touch ID. It uses infrared and visible light scans to identify your face in various conditions. It safely unlocks your phone with a simple glance. The TrueDepth camera looks for your face and gives the accessibility only after confirming the attention and intent to unlock the phone by detecting the eyes. You can’t unlock the phone with closed eyes. So here is how no naughty siblings or kids of yours can unlock the phone by scanning your face while you are asleep. If you fail to unlock the phone with the use of Face ID then you can always use the passcode that you have created while setting up the Face ID.
Setting up Face ID is similar to Touch ID. It uses enrollment process for which you need to go the settings > Face ID & passcode and tap on enroll face. The device starts scanning your face with the help of the front camera. Your face is displayed within a circle with green markings around it and quasi 3D markings are laid to show your eye line and facial center. All the facial characteristics are captured by moving the head in a circle.
You can use the Face ID feature to authorize Apple Pay, App store, iTunes, iBooks store and other apps which are currently supported by Touch ID.
The Face ID feature is said to be distinctive and can be found only in iPhone X. All other existing and upcoming models are likely to retain Touch ID.
