It is evident enough how we are not able to get over the awesomeness of the brand new iPhone X. Now we have stumbled upon one of its beast features- the portrait lighting. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the camera of iPhone X is giving a real studio experience.
iPhone X possesses two kinds of rear camera and a front facing camera used for Face ID. The brilliance of these cameras is that they can build a 3D map of the scene before them after which they use fancy algorithms to identify the subject and the elements around it.
With iPhone X camera it is easy to control or add effects by just sliding. The effects can go from subtle to dramatic. By using the stage light filter you can show your subject in a spotlight against a dark background. Now it is easy to click professional portraits.
Portrait lighting may not completely replace a studio like experience but our everyday pictures can be improved a lot better.
The 3D mapping feature is leaving us in awe with its crazy effects. We are loving how this feature has made it easy to add new backgrounds or combine photos to make perfect group shots etc. We are hopeful enough to see this feature in upcoming iPhones too.
The way Apple is working on its cameras shows that the day is not far when the cameras will create wonders that would be possible only photographically.
